I’ll be speaking with Anne G’Fellers Mason, Executive Director of Heritage Alliance of Northeast Tennessee & Southwest Virginia located in Jonesborough, TN (also nicknamed “Tennessee’s Oldest Town”). The Heritage Alliance is dedicated to the preservation of the architectural, historical, and cultural heritage of our region and to providing educational experiences related to history and heritage for a wide range of audiences. The Heritage Alliance also manages two other historic sites including the Chester Inn State Historic Site & Museum and the Oak Hill School and Heritage Education Program. I’ll be talking with Anne about so many things from what Heritage Alliance does, their programming, why preservation is so important and even how you can get involved in heritage preservation.
