Weekly Music Lessons with JAM Kids

Students grade 4-8 and beyond

Group instruction on guitar, fiddle, & banjo

Through a new partnership with Junior Appalachian Musicians (JAM), the Birthplace of Country Music Museum is a new affiliate location for the program, offering weekly music lessons each Saturday at the museum, 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. ET, for children grades 4-8 and beyond. JAM Kids introduces music through small group instruction on acoustic instruments common to the Appalachian region such as guitar, banjo, and fiddle. Instruments will be provided or students may bring their own. Other instruments may be introduced as to be determined by instructors. Lessons may be paid for per class or for up to 10 classes at a time. Scholarships are available upon request. The cost per class is $5 or $45 for 10 classes. Payments should be made at the door day of session.

*Schedule may be interrupted on holidays: check our Events pages for updates.
Classes are limited to 30 students on a first-come, first-serve basis.
