Join us for a crash course in how to use your DSLR in this 3-hour workshop at the museum!

Date: Saturday, November 2

Time: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Location: Birthplace of Country Music Museum

Tickets: $45, plus Bristol, VA admissions tax / fees

Is your digital camera still on auto mode, just like the day you took it out of the box? Whether you are brand new to photography or you have dabbled in photography for years, this 3-hour course covers topics that can help you transform your images.

Bristol-based photographer Briana Fillers will break down image exposure, shooting techniques, and camera settings; share what is in her camera bag; and provide a hands-on shooting session to apply course topics. Registration is limited to 20 individuals to ensure a quality experience. If you are ready to master your camera and start capturing images like a pro, sign up by October 29, 2019 to save your seat in the class. Interested photographers under age 16 will need a parent or guardian with them in order to participate.

This event is companion programming to our current special exhibit American Ballads: The Photographs of Marty Stuart. Workshop attendees can visit American Ballads for free on November 2, before or after the class.
