Today I’ll be speaking with Walter Jenny Jr. President of the Historical Society of Washington County, VA. Located in downtown Abingdon, Virginia and founded in 1936, the Society has grown from a small collection housed in founders’ homes into one of the finest small historical and genealogical research facilities in Virginia. Tune in for a great discussion on what this organization does and more, including the story of the preservation efforts of moving the historic Hiram Dooley house across the street last year.
