Raffle to benefit Birthplace of Country Music Museum
Bristol Tenn./Va. (June 20, 2019) – The Birthplace of Country Music (BCM) announced today the launch of a new fundraiser that will benefit the Birthplace of Country Music Museum. The Bristol Sessions Super Raffle is an opportunity to donate to the Museum and enter for a chance to win one of 49 prizes given away at the Raffle.
The Raffle drawing will take place on Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. outside the Birthplace of Country Music Museum. A winner will be drawn every five minutes during the four-hour event. Prizes include vacation packages, a camper, multiple vehicles, art, jewelry, cash, and much more. Only 5,000 tickets are available for purchase. Ticket holders do not have to be present to win.
“We were searching for a creative way to raise money for the Museum that would involve the community on many different levels,” said Leah Ross, BCM Executive Director. “We received enthusiastic support from local businesses for prizes and ticket sales. This is an exciting venture, and we look forward to presenting some big prizes to the winners!”
Winners will be announced during the live event outside the Museum. Winners will also be notified via phone, text, or email, listed on the Bristol Sessions Super Raffle website, and listed on the BCM Facebook event page. Raffle tickets, each with two numbers, are $100 each. BCM is offering an incentive to ticket purchasers who buy multiple tickets. The “Buy 10 Get One Free” offer gives the buyer a free ticket with the purchase of 10 tickets. All 10 purchased tickets and the free ticket must be in the single buyer’s name.
