Casting Call for Orthophonic Joy Documentary

November 13, 2015 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Film Details
Plan A Films is shooting narrative material (non-documentary film scenes) to complement the interviews they have collected for the Orthophonic Joy documentary. Plan A Films is shooting this material (a combination of reenactments and re-imagined scenarios based on research and conjecture) to bring to life some of the things that the interviewers said as they spoke to them and to augment what they’ve discovered in their research about the sessions.
This film, commissioned by the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development and Virginia Tourism Corporation, is scheduled for release in Spring 2016 and accompanies last year’s album release of Orthophonic Joy: The 1927 Bristol Sessions Revisited.
