About The Church Sisters
Sarah and Savannah Church began their music careers in March 2007 after winning a talent competition, WAKG Rising Stars. The Norton, Virginia duo is among the artists selected to perform on Orthophonic Joy: The 1927 Bristol Sessions Revisited alongside Dolly Parton, Vince Gill, Emmylou Harris, and Marty Stuart. Produced by Nashville’s Carl Jackson, Orthophonic Joy was released in May of this year.
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with so many great singers in my career. I can honestly say Savannah & Sarah, The Church Sisters, are as good as it gets. I’m not talking about being “good for their age” either… (14 years old, by the way)… I’m talking about being GREAT singers for any age and compared to anyone. God has blessed these young ladies with so much talent, it’s almost unbelievable… and you will be just as blessed to hear them… trust me.”
– Carl Jackson, producer (Mark Twain: Words & Music, Orthophonic Joy)
About Bill & The Belles
Bill and the Belles delivers delicately crafted early popular country music and long forgotten sentimental song for the modern listener. Lifelong musicians Kris Truelsen (guitar, vocal), Grace Van’t Hof (banjo, vocal), and Kalia Yeagle (fiddle, vocal) have a sound unlike any other. Striking three part harmony, impeccable instrumentation, and a profound respect for early American musical traditions make Bill and the Belles a class act.
About Duty Free
Duty Free is a Tri-Cities bluegrass band that always entertains the crowd. Popular around the region, this group plays for fun. While they have day jobs, they still manage to find time to “jam” at least once a week. You can catch them in and around the Tri-Cities throughout the year. It’s garage bluegrass at its best.
