About Hello October
Hailing from Southwest Virginia, Hello October is a solid act with a driving, alt-rock sensibility—atypical of the more traditional sounds of its home, yet born of the mountain bloodline. Not to be pigeonholed by genre, the band’s songwriting and originality set them apart from their folk-rock, banjo-wielding peers.
The band has performed at Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, the Virginia/Kentucky District Fair, High Knob Outdoor Festival, Chillin’ and Grillin’, Best Friends Festival, Hillbilly Days, and more.
