Festival FAQs

POLICIES

Q

What is your bag policy?

A

We strongly encourage, but do not require, clear bags. Something that is compact and easy to carry all day is recommended.

Q

Can I bring a chair?

A

Yes! Compact, foldable chairs are allowed. Reclining chairs are prohibited!

Q

Can I bring a cooler?

A

Sorry, no coolers allowed, but we recommend bringing a portable water bottle to refill as needed.

Q

Can I bring my pet?

A

The festival is not a safe space for your family pet. It’s loud and the weather is unpredictable, also there’s little green space. We understand that Downtown residents must take their pets outside for potty breaks, we just ask that you please pick up after your pet.

Service animals are welcome at the festival.

GATES

Q

When do festival gates open and close?

A

Friday, September 19 – 3-10 p.m.

Saturday, September 20 – 9 a.m.-10 p.m.

Sunday, September 21 – 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

SHUTTLES

Q

Where do shuttles pick up?

A

Shuttles stop at a number of area hotels and parking locations, and drop off at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum and at the Downtown Center right behind the Country Music Mural Stage all weekend long.

A

Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion does provide payment plans for tickets earlier in the year in order to spread out your payment over time.

I ordered my wristbands, when will they be delivered?

A

Wristbands are generally delivered 30 days prior to the festival.

Some guy offered to sell me his wristbands for more than the asking price. Should I buy them?

A

Heck NO!  Don’t get scammed. Only purchase passes from us or a trusted friend.

BAND / BOOKING

Q

How can my band get booked for the festival?

A

Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion no longer accepts unsolicited artist submissions. We appreciate your interest in wanting to participate in our festival, but due to the sheer volume of submissions we receive, we do not have the resources to give each submission its due diligence. We have an active Music Committee that is always exploring and researching.  If they are interested in discussing an offer with you or your band, they will reach out to you. Thank you for your understanding.
