Farm and Fun Time®
About Farm and Fun Time®
Farm and Fun Time hearkens back to the Golden Era of live radio, featuring today’s top traditional country, bluegrass and old-time artists. We’re proud to bring back this historic program to a new generation of listeners.
Watch the Show Live
Hosted by Radio Bristol Program Director Kris Truelsen and his house band Bill and the Belles, Farm and Fun Time® is a celebration of Appalachian music and culture. A reimagining of the classic WCYB Radio program that helped make Flatt & Scruggs, The Stanley Brothers, and Jim & Jesse McReynolds, among others, household names, the popular variety show offers homespun humor and heartwarming performances the entire family will enjoy together.
Broadcasting and streaming live the second Thursday of each month before a studio audience from the “acoustically perfect” performance theater at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum – and quarterly from the opulent Paramount Bristol – Farm and Fun Time® spotlights the very best in roots music touring artists. The variety show also offers a farm report, which highlights the work of regional agriculturalists, an heirloom recipe segment, and live jingles written and performed by the house band.
Visitors are encouraged to be part of the live audience or may tune in online, or through our mobile App for iOS and Android. Each monthly broadcast also streams on WBCM Radio Bristol’s Facebook page.
Now In Syndication
