Monthly Community Jam!

The Birthplace of Country Music Museum is now hosting a monthly gathering of local musicians for a full-on community jam session! These free jams are open to all ages and all skill levels; those interested in just coming along to listen to good music are also welcome!

Radio Bristol presents another exciting Farm and Fun Time variety show featuring a special Celebration of Appalachian Balladry, highlighting the release of "Big Bend Killing." Amythyst Kiah, Elizabeth LaPrelle, John Lilly, ETSU Old Time Ramblers, and house band Bill and the Belles perform.

February 13, 2019 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Bristol's favorite native son, Tennessee Ernie Ford. His hometown is coming together to celebrate this milestone with a number of events and activities throughout the month of February.

I Have a Voice: Tennessee’s African American Musical Heritage

The special exhibit I Have a Voice gives a snapshot of African American Tennesseans’ important contribution to American music, including spirituals, blues, ragtime, jazz, gospel, rhythm and blues, rock and roll, and soul music.
