Johnson City Sessions – 90th Anniversary Live Music Event

Join us in Johnson City as we celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Johnson City Sessions on Saturday, October 19. The event will include family friendly events along with top-notch bluegrass and old-time music acts, kids activities, a vinyl record fair, informative talks by guest speakers regarding the importance of the Johnson City Sessions recordings, and more.

Film Screening: Rising Voices

Join us for a free screening of the award-winning documentary film Rising Voices/Hóthaninpi: Revitalizing the Lakota Language at the museum! The screening is complementary programming to the current special exhibit American Ballads: The Photographs of Marty Stuart  on display in the special exhibits gallery at the museum through January 31, 2020

Screening: A Conversation with Marty Stuart

A screening of last summer's program "A Conversation with Marty Stuart," recorded during the artist's visit to Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion. The program is a Q&A with the country music star as he discussed his photography exhibit American Ballads.
