Join us at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum on Tuesday, June 11, 7:00 p.m. for our monthly Speaker Sessions with musician Andrew Finn Magill on "The Relationships between Irish, Scottish, and American Fiddle Styles: An Immigration Story."
Designed for ages 8-14, it's a special camp experience where students learn the basics of an acoustic instrument, explore the museum, work on projects with WBCM Radio Bristol, and make new friends! No prior experience playing an instrument is required.
Hosted by the East Tennessee Bluegrass Association, these monthly jams are a gathering of bluegrass musicians of all ages and skill levels. Held every fourth Saturday of the month.
Sorry, tickets to this event are now sold out. Members of our 1927 Society receive access to exclusive pre-ticket sales. Click the link to learn how you can become a member!
Designed for returning campers or students who already have basic skills on banjo, guitar, or fiddle. Ages 10-16.
Aimed at toddler-age children and their grown-ups, we will gather on the first Friday of each month to read a music or Appalachia-related storybook, sing along with WBCM Radio Bristol show host Ella Patrick, and enjoy a related activity or coloring sheet. There is no cost to attend.
WBCM Radio Bristol's "Big Lon" gives an insightful overview of the indie recording studios, record labels, and artists that have helped shape the landscape of the Tri-Cities music scene.
Join us for a workshop on oral history methods - with nothing more than your phone and your curiosity, you can start recording the precious memories of family and community members around you!
