YWCA TechGYRLS Radio Bristol Show during Museum Day Live!
This year’s special Museum Day Live! event, held during Women’s History Month, will encourage all people, and particularly women and girls of color, to explore their nation’s museums, cultural institutions, zoos, aquariums, parks and libraries though this offer of free admission for one day. The Birthplace of Country Music Museum will be open from 10am to 6pm on March 12, and as part of this year’s theme, the museum has partnered with the YWCA TechGYRLS to produce a short radio show, researched, written and performed by students in the TechGYRLS after-school enrichment program. The completed radio show will air on WBCM Radio Bristol (100.1 FM, online and via the WBCM app) at 1 P.M. on March 12. The program will also be streamed into the museum’s performance theater at 1:00 p.m. for Museum Day Live! visitors to enjoy.
