“Getting Started in Exhibition Development” — a “watch and talk” event

November 9, 2016 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

The Birthplace of Country Music Museum will host “Getting Started on Exhibition Development,” an American Alliance of Museums (AAM) “watch and talk” webinar on Wednesday, November 9. Designed for museum professionals at all career levels, this webinar presents one approach to developing exhibitions, focusing on the linear and non-linear aspects of creating a three-dimensional learning environment. Whether planning a new exhibition or renovating an old one, this program will help reframe thinking about exhibition planning.

The AAM “watch and talk” event will be held in the museum’s Performance Theater from 1:30—4:30 p.m., and consists of:
• 30 minutes of pre-webinar check-in and networking: 1:30-2 p.m.
• 90-minute live webinar: 2-3:30 p.m.
• 60 minutes of post-webinar facilitated discussion: 3:30-4:30 p.m.

This is a great opportunity to connect with and learn from local colleagues. There is no cost to attend our local “watch and talk” event but you must register via AAM’s RSVP form.
