Educator Fellowship Opportunity

Birthplace of Country Music Museum Educator Fellowship Opportunity

The Birthplace of Country Music Museum (BCMM) is offering two Educator Fellowships to K-12 teachers for summer 2025. Educator Fellows will utilize their creativity, insight, dedication, and expertise in classroom practice and knowledge of state standards to enhance and expand the museum’s educational resources and opportunities for students and teachers. As an Educator Fellow, you will work with museum curatorial staff to develop new museum-based teacher and student resources, activities, and experiences, and help with our annual teacher in-service workshops on July 14 and 15.

Applicants must be teachers employed by a school in Northeast Tennessee or Southwest Virginia. The fellowships will consist of approximately 77 hours (20 hours per week for three (3) weeks (June 23–July 11), plus July 14 (8:00am—4:00pm) and July 15 (8:00am—5:00pm)). Fellows will receive a stipend of $1,540 with 50% paid at the beginning of the fellowship and 50% at the end. For a full description of the Educator Fellowship program, click HERE.
