The Earhart Family farm has been in the family since the first land grants were established in the Bristol area. They take pride in their heritage and also the history of this region, and part of that history is the rich musical presence that abounds here. Therefore, they are proud to present the Second Annual Earhart Music Festival. With many different performances, there is sure to be something for everyone. Bring your lawn chair and come enjoy the music, food, and fun…rain or shine!!
The Earhart Campground is located next to the Bristol Motor Speedway on the Volunteer Parkway in Bristol, Tennessee on Friday, June 20th and Saturday June 21st, 2008. Music runs from 3:30 PM-11 PM on Friday and from 11 AM- 11 PM on Saturday.
Friday, June 20, 2008 the acts are Jan Smith, Old Line Skiffle Combo, Tony Holt & The Wildwood Valley Boys, plus the International Bluegrass Music Associations Entertainer Of The Year, The Grascals.
On Saturday, June 21, 2008, the acts are Tennessee Skyline, Old Line Skiffle Combo, Bluegrass Addiction, Mark Johnson and Emory Lester, The Charlie Sizemore Band, Grammy Nominated and Dove Award Nominee Kenny & Amanda Smith Band, The Steel Drivers, and The Red Stick Ramblers.
